Why have therapy online?

There are lots of reasons to have online sessions, so what are the advantages? 

Successful Outcomes - The process is exactly the same as you would experience in a consulting room, but with the added advantages that we can see below. 

 

The 'Green' Way to Relaxation - Online hypnotherapy is the 'greenest way' to get the help you need. If you care about your carbon footprint, want to reduce traffic congestion, or help to reduce paper use, then an online session is a great way to do that.

Convenience - you can have sessions at home or your workplace, no more traveling to appointments. You can just switch on your computer, tablet or phone and relax.

Simple to book - All sessions are bookable online, so you can see what appointments are available, whatever time of day or wherever you are in the world.  The process is stress free, quick and easy, so when you deicide you need help it is just a click away. Once you have booked, you will receive a confirmation email and link to your Zoom call.

Peaceful and Relaxing - Some clients may have anxiety around leaving home, or meeting people face to face, there are also the current issues around Coronavirus. An online hypnotherapy session takes all the uncertainty away, allowing you lie back, relax and feel better.

Confidential and Safe - All Zoom calls are protected by their updated security software and all calls from Time to Think Hypnotherapy are also run through a Virtual Private Network (VPN), so our conversations are secure and confidential. 

The first session...and it's FREE!

The first session is an initial consultation where we talk about your problem and I explain how the mind works when we suffer from anxiety, phobias and depression etc. We will talk about what you want to achieve and how you want your life to be different. You won't get 'on the couch' in the first week but you will in subsequent sessions.

'On the Couch'

In the second session we will talk about your week through 'guided conversation' and focus on the positive aspects of your life since the last session. You will then have your time 'on the couch'. As you will be in your own home or office it is important to be comfortable, so a bed, sofa or reclining chair is ideal. The room will also need to be quiet and have a good internet connection.

The trance state that you will go into is very relaxing and nothing to be scared of. Anyone can be hypnotised and you cannot be made to do anything you do not want to do. This is not the 'trick' of stage hypnosis. We go into trance states all the time, while out jogging, listening to music, reading a book or watching a good film. So you will get used to the wonderful experience and look forward to it!

How Many Sessions?

The number of sessions you will need varies from person to person but a good indication is between 5 and 10. The stop smoking session is one two-hour consultation.

How long will it take to notice a difference?

Most people feel changes almost immediately and they start to sleep better. As with all treatment and therapy it is important to follow the guidance you are given. The process is structured in such a way that it increases your confidence and helps you …to do what?
